My background spans both research and engineering. I've published peer-reviewed work on LLM systems, received the Rector's Award at the Juraj Dobrila University of Pula, and worked across NLP and computer vision.

I'm particularly interested in applied AI in vertical domains, where the challenge goes beyond model performance: building the surrounding systems and integrating AI into products people actually use.
